Our Story
Gulf Blvd Concrete Works was founded in 2017 by a crew of Pinellas County contractors who noticed the same problem on barrier island property after barrier island property: concrete installed without any consideration for the coastal environment. Standard driveways from inland Florida contractors. Pool decks sealed with products designed for Central Florida's freshwater environment. Foundations poured without the reinforcement specs required for salt-air exposure.
The results were predictable — spalling pool decks after 8 years, cracked driveways with salt crystallization damage, corroding rebar visible through concrete surfaces. We set out to change that by bringing coastal-specific concrete expertise to the Gulf Blvd corridor.
Today we serve homeowners, condo associations, and vacation rental property managers throughout Indian Rocks Beach, Indian Shores, Redington Shores, Redington Beach, Madeira Beach, Treasure Island, St. Pete Beach, and Clearwater Beach. Every job uses materials and mix designs appropriate for Gulf Coast conditions — not the same specs used 50 miles inland.
